BODY YOGURT

Horsechestnut:Horse chestnut extract has many benefits in cosmetics. It stimulates the microcirculation, gently supporting blood flow. In addition, it improves and protects the function of the capillary walls and visibly reduces swelling.

Sunflower Oil:Rich in nutrients such as calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and vitamins A, K and E, it’s used effectively against inflammation and general irritations of the skin. Being very high in vitamin E, it acts as an emollient which traps moisture and keeps skin well hydrated. It also helps prevent damage to cells by ultraviolet light and aids against premature aging of skin by protecting the collagen and elastin content.

Caffeine-Lecithin: Caffeine is a naturally-occurring alkaloid compound derived from the leaves and fruits of various plants, including coffee and cocoa trees. It’s best known for its stimulant properties. When used in skin care, caffeine reduces blood flow to the skin and makes it look brighter and tighter. In addition to its energizing properties, caffeine is a natural antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals. Lecithin has antioxidant properties making it valuable to the skincare industry. It can  help reduce skin pigmentation caused by sun exposure . Lecithin adds a protective layer and fights the signs of ageing. It contains vitamin E, which is beneficial for replenishing damaged skin.

Butylene Glycol :Butylene glycol has humectant properties. Humectants attract and bind water, often from deeper layers of the skin into the top layers. They  help keep the skin hydrated and moisturized. Aside from drawing moisture to the skin, butylene glycol is also an  emollient. It coats the skin’s surface, creating a barrier that prevents water loss. It also conditions and softens the skin and hair.

Mastic: is a resin from the mastic tree primarily grown on the island of Chios Greece where it has a protected designation of origin from the EU. Since ancient times it’s been used for its antimicrobial benefits and other medicinal purposes. In the cosmetics industry it’s antiseptic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, softening and healing properties make it ideal for skin care products such as moisturizers, soaps, body lotions and face masks. Another small wonder of nature adding to the spice and enhancement of our lives.
